Did anyone else think that Summer 2019 was one of the hottest? And the hottest days always seemed to land on wedding day lol! I travelled to Welland to meet up with Nick and Barb to photograph their church wedding and it was great! First, I met up with Barb and her bridesmaids at her maid of honour's home. It was there that I met Barb's family and photographed a super sweet first look between Barb and her father. We then headed to the church, by this time I was a sweaty (but very happy!) mess and I couldn't wait for Nick to see his bride walk down that aisle! After the ceremony, the wedding party walked to the local park where we took photos (cue me chugging a gallon of water). We finally got some relief from the heat when we headed to Casa Dante for the reception. I have to say, the wedding party had some pretty awesome entrances and they were so high energy! We then finished off the night with some first dances and speeches and I can't forget about the awesome food that was served! Congrats again to the happy couple, who have since announced that an addition to their family is coming very soon :) - MD
