Curious to see what a winter mini session looks like?
In all honesty, mini sessions are just like regular sessions but, well, mini! They are a great way to get some quick updated photos of you and your loved ones. They are also great if you have small children that can't last a regular session time. Mini sessions typically are between 15-20 minutes long and photographer's will hold mini session days where they fit in a bunch of families one after the other. The most popular times photographer's will run mini sessions is in the fall and winter, and could even include a festive set up! Last year I had the opportunity to host my winter mini sessions at Guided by Hooves Farm in Thamesford, ON which is about 10 minutes outside of London. This property made for a great back drop as it is a working horse farm! I was even lucky enough to have Moose (a mini horse) be involved in the photos and they turned out so well! I had such a great time last year that I am hosting my winter mini sessions here again this year, with a different set up! And yes, there will be a horse involved.
