A family session on the hottest day of the year...
You know those summer days when you walk outside and it's automatically hard to breathe? Yeah, that was this day. But nonetheless still super fun, especially with such a great family! I met Kerri-Lynn and Dan when KL was pregnant with Caverly. Things have changed since then, including a new furry addition to their family - Bubba. Unfortunately, their other Great Dane Brutus (who was present during their maternity shoot) passed away during the pandemic. It's never easy to lose a pet and they will always be apart of their family. When I arrived to their home, I met Bubba who was was very cuddly and loved to be pet! Most people are intimidated by Great Danes, but my goodness they are beautiful animals!
We took a walk along a trail near their house that I fell in love with and I now use it for other shoots lol. So shoutout to the Larson family for showing me a great photo spot! Caverly was super bubbly, she loved running around in the field and it was great to catch up with Dan and Kerri-Lynn. Were we all red and sweaty at the end of the session? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely.
